A recent survey showed at least 15 million Americans had completed some creative writing in any given year. Some of them had completed a book entirely. With publishing industry continues to find its next best seller, the competition to enter the industry is getting increasingly difficult. Many agents are no longer review unsolicited manuscripts and most traditional publishers have shun submissions from new authors altogether.

It is debatable whether the quality of book publishing is on the decline but it is true that many big publishing houses are chasing after celebrities and well-known authors. It is difficult for new authors to get noticed.

The purpose of this group is to help unpublished authors and self-published authors to improve writing skills, locate an agent who is passionate about your work, and even find a publisher who review manuscript only based on the quality of your work not who you are or who you know.
