Tommy wrote something on a notebook paper which was torn out of his school book. It just said "I love you". He then folded in the shape of a paper airplane and scotched taped it together. He made sure the message was seen on both wings. It wasn't thrown or flew anywhere, just carefully placed on the school desk two seats ahead of him. The eighth grader watched Teresa read it and just hoped for the best. She wondered who had left it but smiled anyway. After class was over he approached her and said "hope you like my paper airplane". She replied 'very much I do". Tommy and Teresa held hands during the graduation ceremony from grammar school. The photo album clearly showed that along with smiling faces. Different high schools and colleges were attended as the one time incident and young romance was soon forgotten. Twenty years later Tommy was on a roller coaster ride at an amusement park. Five minutes were left until all of the two seater cars were about to be filled up. A lady the same age as him sat in his car as the bar was pulled down for the exciting ride. He remembered his first love as so did she. They held hands the entire ride and smiled. Two years later Tommy went to the men's room. He came back and sat at the wedding table next to his bride Teresa. In front of him was a paper airplane with special words written on the wings "I love you". It wasn't thrown or flew, just carefully placed there. Maybe torn out notebook paper surfaces once again for a second time. The message is still the same as so are the feelings between them. Love returned in the form of a paper airplane in a short love story about Tommy and Teresa....
