“What's In You?”
“Ye are of God, my little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.” 1 John4:4
Scripture Reading For This Week: I John 4; Ephesians 3; Philippians 4; 2 Corinthians 5; 10...
Our God is so big, so strong and so mighty, there's nothing our God cannot do! How many of us remember that song? How many of us believe the words of that song? I have determined, and perhaps you have to, that whatever is in me determines what comes forth from me. If you believe in what God has spoken in your life; if you have that in you, then surely your life will begin to manifests those truths. However, if what resides in you is defeat and negativity; then chances are that is what your life will entail.
I declare and decree that this week's Reflections will be a continued source of encouragement for your heart, mind and soul. As you continue to walk in the goodness of God, seeking after His will for your life; you will come into the knowledge of what truly resides within your heart and the deepest part of your mind. You are about to uncover what you really believe. What is really in you.
Do you think about it? Do you think about what is really in you? Or, do you take for granted that everything in you is in agreement with God? That, everything in you believes what God has spoken concerning your life? How positive are the conversations that you have with yourself? Is the truth of God and what He has spoken over your life truly at the forefront of your heart and mind? Or, has the whispers and lies of the enemy taken up space where the word of God once resided?
These are all fair questions. Questions that we should be asking ourselves; especially if our lives are not matching up with the word of God that He has proclaimed over our lives. All too often we complain about what is not being done, or what is wrong in our lives. We get mad at God and rebel against Him when things do not go our way. Why? Why do we blame God when He has told us that we already have the victory? What we believe within eventually manifests in our lives. So if you believe what God has declared over your life, then why aren't you speaking it? Why aren't you declaring it to the atmosphere?
Ephesians 3:20-21 “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”
Have you even asked the Father? Have you even gone before His throne and asked of Him what it is that you want? The Word of God tells us that He will do exceeding abundantly above what we as or think ACCORDING to the power that works in us.
What's in you beloved? What resides within your heart today? Is Christ in you? Is the Over-comer at work within you? Is Christ seated upon the throne of your heart? Is the mind of Christ dwelling in you richly? Or, is there doubt and fear and unbelief? Have the lies and whispers of the enemy taken up so much space in your heart and mind, that you cannot even see the ways or thoughts of God anymore?
No? Then what is it that you want? Why don't you ask God? Why don't you declare what He has already declared for you? If you don't declare it, chances are you won't receive it. Open your mouth and speak what you want to the atmosphere. Speak it to God. Do as God: SPEAK! God respects your authority on this earth; but He waits upon you to open your mouth so He can perform what you have declared. Be mindful of your conversations; negativity will not move God, but only hold you back—prolonging the promises to come to pass. Act Like Jesus...Think Like God, and declare His goodness in your life and circumstances!
Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
Our thoughts are so powerful. They give birth to our reality. What are you thinking today? Are you thinking that you can? Or, that you can't? Are your thoughts on the positive, or constantly the negative? Do you think on what God has spoken or what the enemy is saying? It is true: Change your thoughts (mind), change your life!
Again I ask, beloved: What is in you? Who is in you? If Christ be in you, then you are a new creature, with infinite possibilities ahead of you. If Christ be in you, then His thoughts must be in you. The mind of Christ must dwell in you. And if this is so; then you must know and believe that you are victorious. That, you have already won! Because Christ did, we win! Hallelujah!
Do you believe it today? Do you believe what God says about you? Do you believe the promises He has spoken over your life? Do you believe the visions that He has placed in you? Do you believe that what God has for you is for you and no matter what you face in this life, God can and will use it to make you stronger and a testimony for others? Do you believe?
I decree that the spirit of peace and of prosperity has found permanent rest in your lives: spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, socially, and financially. Allow Christ to sit upon the throne of your heart. Let His words reside within you. Let His truth lead you and encourage you. Think daily on the promises and goodness of our God. Ask God for what you want. And when you ask, believe that you have already received it...by faith. God loves you. You are Blessed. Now go...and Be a Blessing!
