EARTH'S HEARTBEAT

It mirrors my own being
To walk with reverence softly
Among the gentle shadows
I linger for a moment
Embracing the view of morn
Of earth and it's awakenings
I smile with gentle gratitude
Earth's heartbeat rebounds in unison
