I don't know how many of you are fans of Soupy Sales, but I sure am. It was very sad to hear that he passed away yesterday at 83.

Who can forget his wacky shows and watching him get hit in the face with a pie. Some say he has been hit by over twenty thousand pies.

Do you remember his puppets, White Fang, Pookie, Black Tooth and others, all played by Clyde Adler.

Yes, and the worst part is that all of his early shows were live with no tapes, so they are gone forever. Luckily the LA shows were taped and there are DVDs available.

I used to watch his show when I was a kid. He will be missed.
